Samba

Samba is one of the most popular styles of music in Brazil. The Samba most probable originated in Brazil, and resulting from the dance styles brought to the country by West African Slaves. It is largely viewed as Brazil's national musical form.

Some characteristics are walking steps and side steps are the fundamental components of Samba. The main feature of the Samba is the vertical bounce action. Steps are taken using the ball of the foot. Knee action along with body swing and "pendulum motion", in the accomplished dancer, is made to look easy and carefree.
Samba has so various diverse dance forms with diverse pace, tempo, rhythm and personality.
